    Superb

The staff were very nice and helpful. The outlook from the hotel was very nice. We would come back if I got a ground floor room.

The only complaint I had was that I found the stairs hard and I had problems with the evening menu. The menu wasn't varied enough.

    Exceptional

    Location,staff,parking & good service

Slightly over priced like many Scottish hotels north of falkirk!

    Superb

the staff were particularly friendly, helpful and honest. the bedroom and bathroom were both clean and spacious.the room was well appointed with hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities, information leaflets, clean towels daily etc . the atmosphere in the hotel nicely relaxed .

the food in general was very average .the bar and the dining room were rather dull !

My husband family and I have stayed at Nethybridge for family holidays for more than 20 years. We stay for special weekends too and on a couple of occasions I booked in when traveling on business. We all love it because it is different not plastic like so many others! having games in an old sideboard goes down with the smalls! On when occasion when my husband and I were there for a very unsucessful fishing trip (snowed in) the manager mr Robert Wiles-Gill arranged food in front of the fire for us! On this last visit I took a friend who had been fairly recently bereaved and had not been to your hotel before. She too received a Highland welcome from the staff, once they knew about her from me. well done.

    Superb

The staff were very helpful and very friendly. The location was perfect for traveling around the region and I think you should make more of your location.

The furnishings felt tired.....the hotel looked as if it could have commanded a 4/5 star rating in recent years..but I understand the costs to upgrade are prohibitive. I also thought the glass doors needed a good clean - but everything else was very clean! I was with a friend in a wheelchair, I had asked for a room with disabled facilities in the bathroom...but we were put on the second floor and the shower was over the bath and there were no hand rails in the bath so she couldn't shower. That was disappointing but because we were a late booking I felt it wasn't fair to complain. The small lift was very good but quite far from her room and the carpets were hard for her to negotiate.

    Superb

We stayed at this hotel as we were attending Thunder in the Glen in Aviemore. The hotel served our needs exceptionally well. Rooms huge, bathroon huge. Bed the most comfortable I've slept in for a while. Breakfast was lovely with a nice selection of foods.

Very nice location, very friendly staff

Food was not very good, orange juice at breakfast looked and tasted (one tiny sip) as though it should have been thrown out. The whole hotel looked as though it needed a thorough overhall. With money spent to brighten things up and rejuvenate the bathrooms etc. this could be a wonderful hotel. I'm sure it once was, but it looked, 'tired'. It cost over £200 for one family night B&B and I think this was far too much.

    Very good

We found the hotel was ideally situated for visiting popular places and used as a base for touring the surrounding landmarks.

not so much as a complaint but we did feel the hotel was a bit tired looking and could do with a general makeover.

    Very good

Beautiful gardens, clean room, excellent location. Staff generally friendly with one or two exceptions!

Bar meal atmosphere was not great with inappropriate music and the staff rearranged all the furniture around us extremely noisily while we were eating! 'Nethy pie' was good though served with three kinds of potato!

    The breakfast was good :)

The rooms were absolutely freezing :( Our room was not ready and we were told to wait 10 minutes - after almost an hour I asked again and was told ...oh sorry we forgot to tell you it was ready!!

    Good

Exellent dinning room service and food. Courteous reception.. Descreet service.

Very dated .... tv from the ark no wi fi in rooms Decoration not attactive and dated. Windows would only just open and were rotten. Externally the hotel was in deay. A great hotel could demand twice as much for accomodation but for the decay and dated condition I will not return until it has received a major face lift.

    Exceptional

very welcoming. staff very friendly and breakfast great. had a bar supper which was lovely. great hotel with our dog and free of charge. dog allowed in public bar and great walks roundabout the hotel.

only thing i would say is it needs a lick of paint as a bit dated. windows need replaced as well but other than that cant fault it.

No fresh food, very dated and tired room, bathroom cold and very basic, three single beds in room, no transport to town apart from local rip off taxi company.

    Exceptional

A friendly, comfortable old-fashioned Scottish hotel, with good pub food and evening entertainment. Set in a lovely village and close to wonderful scenery, walking and fishing, as well as visits to distilleries on Speyside.

I asked when booking through you for an early breakfast both days and they claimed that the request was not sent. Ended up withan inadequate continental breakfastOn arrival berated by the staff because we entered the hotel by the rear door from the rear car park. Then lectured about wet gear going up to rooms
